Yoga is back for 2026! Read below for class info and dates.

Class Description:
I find yoga brings a deep sense of calm, peace, and strength, and I truly love sharing that feeling with others. I have been a certified yoga instructor for over 14 years, and my classes are designed to support both body and mind in a welcoming, inclusive environment.
I’m excited to be practicing together under the new covered pavilion, offering a comfortable and welcoming outdoor space in all kinds of weather.
Each class focuses on release, flexibility, breathwork, meditation, and stability. I offer a balanced blend of styles, including Hatha, Flow, Yin/Yang, Ashtanga, and Gentle yoga. Hands-on adjustments are offered (with consent) to help deepen your practice, and I also incorporate the use of weighted sandbags to encourage relaxation, grounding, and body awareness.
Modifications and variations are always provided to accommodate all levels—from beginners to experienced practitioners—so you can move at your own pace and feel confident in your practice.
Please bring a yoga mat and water. A limited number of mats, blocks, straps, and sandbags are available.
Cost: $20 per class or 4 classes for $70

Pilates with Sarah

Three weeks to feel stronger and enjoy summer more.
Join Sarah Bassendale for Strength & Pilates at SSCA this summer.
This one-hour class combines strength training, core work, and Pilates-inspired mat exercises. It’s a full-body class designed to help you build strength and stability that show up in everything you do.
It’s a great fit if you want to feel stronger for tennis, paddling, swimming, water sports, hiking, dock life, hauling cottage gear, or simply keeping up with kids and grandkids at the Bay.
I’ve been teaching for over 20 years, and what I love most is helping people build strength they can actually use in everyday life.
Each class begins with breathwork and core activation, then moves into a strength block, Pilates mat work, and a final stretch.
Modifications are always offered, so you can make the class work for your body. No experience needed. Beginners are welcome.
9–10am

Week 3: Mon Aug 3, Wed Aug 5, Sat Aug 8
2–3pm

Yoga mat and water.
Optional: 3–5 lb hand weights if you’d like to add more strength work. A few extra mats and light weights will be available.
