Next summer we will continue the Kids in the Biosphere Program with nature activity kits for children. Sign up will be in May and June.
Last summer we had great success with phragmites removal volunteer days and we will be continuing our efforts to remove this invasive and destructive plant from our shorelines. We will be tackling any new patches and doing clean up on the old ones that we cut in 2018.
Water quality monitoring with the Lake Partners Program will expand to Spider Bay, Clear Bay and Port Rawson Bay.
We also plan on having a family nature outing to share our collective knowledge on native plants and wildlife.
We welcome all to our committee and activities. If interested, please contact Katherine Denune email@example.com. Looking forward to seeing you next summer.
