The courts will be ready for play when the ice is out and cottage time begins. The tentative schedule for weekends and the summer will be Pickleball from 8 to noon and 4 to 6, open play from noon to 4 and after 6. During the spring and fall or when the courts are not busy there will be open time for either sport.
For those new to pickleball there are racquets and balls available in the storage box outside the courts. Basketballs are also available. There is no need to get a partner or sign up. You just get in line and wait your turn. Pickleball players are generally helpful and eager to teach beginners. You can also arrange to have a partner or set up a group of 4 or more.
There is no dress requirement ( jeans are even acceptable) , however to avoid damaging the court surface proper footwear such as tennis or running shows is mandatory.
These courts are for the whole community and have been made possible by the generous donations of Sans Souci cottagers.
