Special Message: COVID-19 & Community Centre Re-opening

May 21, 2020
Dear Member,
With recent announcements that Ontario is re-opening, we are beginning to execute on our plans to re-open our community centre property.
In accordance with Provincial guidelines (Stage 1) announced last Thursday, we are now able to facilitate limited and controlled access to our property. With opening the property, we must adhere to strict Provincial guidelines of use or risk fines for non-adherence.
We have made arrangements to have the floating docks re-attached to the shore this week. Both the Sans Souci Tennis Club (SSTC) courts and the Sport Courts are opening this Saturday, May 23rd.  There are new details on use and availability of the Sport Courts under Property>Sport Court on this website.
For now, the School House, the Fitness Building and the Brand Cottage remain closed. We are currently unable to offer washrooms on the property. As well, first aid supplies and the defibrillator are not available at this time.
When visiting the property, use common sense. The latest Provincial guidelines stipulate no gatherings of more than 5 people. Wear a mask when you know you can’t practice social distancing. Give people space when walking on paths or docks. Most of all, if you feel something coming on, stay home and consult a health professional.
Thank you for your patience. Your health and safety continues to be a priority and drives all of your Board’s decisions and actions. We’ll keep you posted on any further expansion of operations at the community centre property as the rules change. Play safe.
Thanks,
Eric
