Northern911 – This is a Test – July 2nd

As most of you know, there is no fire response in the Township of the Archipelago. Because of this, the SSCA has contracted with Northern 911 to provide notifications to members in the event of a fire in the community, so that those who are able and willing may provide assistance.
A call to our Northern 911 number (1-844-868-0060) will connect you with a dispatcher who will activate an SMS text message sent to all SSCA members who have provided a valid cellular number. The message will contain the location and short description of the situation. Members are under no obligation to assist and should only attend if they can do so safely.
This year, we are planning on conducting a test of the system on Friday July 2 at 1:00pm. At this time, Northern 911 will send the following message to members who have provided a valid cellular number:
“Sans Souci and Copperhead this is your test of the notification system from Northern 911”
Should anyone wish to add a cellular number to the call list, or if anyone does not receive the test message on July 2 and who expected to, please contact me via email at Jason.drysdale@icloud.com.
