A Message From The President:
*COVID GUIDELINES AND PRO WEEK SIGN UP INFORMATION*
The board and I want to thank everyone for their cooperation and patience as we wade through this unprecedented COVID -19 time. We have managed to slip to July with no illnesses (that we know of) and our season is off to a great start.
The courts are playing great despite the lack of rain. Thank you to the SSCA staff and our own Tom Blackett for their ingenuity and work on the watering system.
Please continue to follow our protocols posted and online. Use common sense when using the facility and the most important thing, according to Coach Kern, is to wash your hands right after playing.
Speaking of Coach Kern, he and his son Sean will be returning for another season. Thank you to the Young’s for housing them, the Browne’s for loaning them a boat and the Hatcher’s for getting them out here. It indeed takes a village. We are thrilled we have these tennis professionals out again this summer, please take advantage of their expertise.

BECAUSE OF DEMAND WE ARE LIMITING NUMBER OF TIMES YOU CAN BOOK TO 3 PRIVATES A WEEK PER PERSON, BUT YOU CAN GO ON HIS WAITLIST. NO LIMIT ON CLINICS, FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.

Changes to Our COVID 19 Guidelines and Protocols:
*We will now have some chairs and tables placed in the pavilion
Please do NOT move or rearrange them.
They will be cleaned by the SSCA staff daily, but you use at your own risk!
*We will now allow our members to bring 2 guests at a time
Please ensure they have read and understand our guideline and protocols and are not exhibiting and COVID-19 symptoms when they come to play.
Pro Week 2020 with the Kerns:
Please read the following information carefully as it contains information about clinics and private lessons.
Attached is the adult clinic schedule for this summer with descriptions. This will also be posted on the SSCA website under Tennis News.
  • For the week of Monday, July 13 – Saturday, July 18th we can take 8 adults per clinic, as Sean and I will both be there.
  • For the second week (Monday, July 20 – Thursday, July 23) only 4 people per adult clinic as it will just be Sean.
  • Sean will do same as last year with the Juniors: (Monday/Wednesday/Friday/Monday/Wednesday) 2:30-3:30 for 5-7 yr olds (4 players max) and 3:30-4:30 for 8-12 year olds (4 players max)
For private lessons (LIMIT OF 3 PER WEEK):
  • Private lessons are available with Tom Monday through Saturday 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 pm
  • Privates with Sean are available 1:30-2:30 Mon/Wed/Fri, and 1-4 pm Tues and Thursday.
Clinics prices will stay the same ($30 per adult clinic, $15 per Junior clinic).
Private lessons are $70 per hour. Private lessons times are limited, first come first served.
