2019 was a big transition year for SSCA Communications. A new website with a simplified, self-serve portal for updates and online look-up functionality was launched and there was a dramatic increase in the number of online payments through the combined Membership Directory and payment portal. This has contributed greatly to reducing administrative effort and expenses.
We also heard your feedback on replacing the annual Yearbook with an online Phonebook and that you would prefer to have some form of a hard copy Directory to keep by the cottage phone. In response, the Communications Committee has been looking for a volunteer/volunteers with publishing experience to lead up the development and production of a simplified Yearbook/Directory for 2020. Unfortunately, to date, no one has stepped forward but we will keep looking. In the meantime, a printable membership contact list is available at ssca.info at the top right on your login page.
It will still be as important as ever for you to keep your membership info on the website up-to-date in 2020 since paid members contact information is included in this Member Phonebook.
