The SSCA Day Camp is looking for two enthusiastic, mature, organized, and patient individuals who love working with children 4-12 years of age. The two positions are for a Camp Director and an Assistant Director.
The Camp Director should be able to plan and prepare crafts, games, and outside fun for children from 9:30 am to 3 pm Monday-Friday starting July 4th through August 25. This person should also feel comfortable overseeing teen volunteer counselors. The director should have experience working in a program with children. First aid and CPR certification is preferred.
The Assistant Director will assist the director in preparing and facilitating daily activities with the campers.
Both these roles are exciting opportunities to gain leadership and community experience in the wonderful Georgian Bay.
The SSCA Day Camp is operated out of the school house on the SSCA property on Frying Pan island. Both positions require the applicants having access to their own transportation to and from the SSCA property.
