The Book Club will meet 5 times next summer – every other Tuesday at 3:30 PM at the Dock House:
July 4, July 18, August 1, August 15 and August 29.
Please join us for the discussions, which are very informal and lots of fun, whether you have read the book or not.
In case of inclement weather we will meet inside the Dock House or in the School House behind the Dock House.

Every Wednesday, during July and August, Bridge Club meets in the Dock House at 1:30. There are usually three to five tables. All bridge players are welcome and a partner is not necessary. Lots of fun and great way to meet new friends at the Bay! Contact Bill & Carol Stratton.
From July 3rd to August 6th (10am-3pm) Monday-Friday (excluding Monday of the August long weekend), SSCA members and guests aged 4-11 are welcome to participate in the activities of the Sans Souci Day Camp. Swimming, making crafts, playing tennis, and taking nature walks are just some of the many activities offered. No sign-up is necessary. Just bring some sun block, a hat, a peanut-free lunch, a bathing suit and towel and expect to have lots of fun. Price: $35 per day for SSCA members, $45 per day for non-members. Due to unexpected circumstances Trish is unable to teach yoga this summer. She looks forward to returning summer 2019.
SSCA Sailing Camp will run during the week of July 16th and the week of August 13th. The course fee is unchanged at $475 per week, including taxes and water taxi transportation to and from the camp location in Parry Sound, with pickups at the SSCA docks on Frying Pan Island and Gash Island.
The camp is targeted at sailors aged 7 through 15, and has instruction for all ability levels, including novice sailors. It is operated in partnership with Sail Parry Sound. All instructors are accredited. Capacity is limited (by our water taxi).

Please feel free to borrow the books from the Lending Library which is open during Dockhouse hours. There is a good assortment of bodice-ripper romances and spy thrillers with some non-fiction, young adult and children’s books as well. Please re-shelve books when you are finished with them. Donations of books and current magazines would be appreciated and can be left in the Library area. Thank you- Janet Ross.
On the Saturday of the August Long Weekend, the annual SSCA Regatta is held at the SSCA Docks and Community Centre. There are swimming and canoes races, a picnic barbeque lunch and a judged arts & crafts show. Sponsors and volunteers are always needed, please contact Margaret & Daniel Reszczynski.
