The Book Club will meet 5 times next summer – every other Tuesday at 3:30 PM at the Dock House:
July 4, July 18, August 1, August 15 and August 29.
Please join us for the discussions, which are very informal and lots of fun, whether you have read the book or not.
In case of inclement weather we will meet inside the Dock House or in the School House behind the Dock House.

Every Wednesday, during July and August, Bridge Club meets in the Dock House at 1:30. There are usually three to five tables. All bridge players are welcome and a partner is not necessary. Lots of fun and great way to meet new friends at the Bay! Contact Bill & Carol Stratton.
From early July to the end of August (10am-3pm) throughout the summer (excluding Monday of the August long weekend), SSCA members and guests aged 4-11 are welcome to participate in the activities of the Sans Souci Day Camp. Swimming, making crafts, playing tennis, and taking nature walks are just some of the many activities offered. No sign-up is necessary. Just bring some sun block, a hat, a peanut-free lunch, a bathing suit and towel and expect to have lots of fun. Price: $35 per day for SSCA members, $45 per day for non-members. Due to an injury Trish will be unable to teach yoga this summer. She looks forward to returning for the summer of 2018.
For the 2017 season, Molly Benz will be teaching yoga on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8/14, 8/15 and 8/16 from 10:15 to 11: 30.
Classes are held dock side under patio umbrellas or if weather is inclement, in the Dock House. Please bring a mat or a towel, sunscreen, and water.
In 2017, the SSCA Sailing Camp will run from July 17-21 and August 14-18. The camp is suited to both novice and experienced sailors from 7 through 15. The cost is $475 , including water taxi transport each day to and from the SSCA Community Dock, and taxes. It will run from 9am-4pm daily, and will be conducted by CYA-certified instructors through the facilities of Sail Parry Sound, an award-winning sailing school.

Summer church services are held at the SSCA Community Centre every Sunday at 10:00am. Please join us each week for singing, prayer and a Bible book study. Volunteers are welcome. Hymn and chorus requests are invited. Contact – Jane & Ron French.
Please feel free to borrow the books and magazines from the Lending Library which is open during Dockhouse hours. There is a good assortment of bodice-ripper romances and spy thrillers with some non-fiction, young adult and children’s books as well. We no longer have a sign-out system. Simply re-shelve them when you are finished. Donations of books and current magazines would be appreciated and can be left in the Library area. Thank you- Janet Ross.
On the Saturday of the August Long Weekend, the annual SSCA Regatta is held at the SSCA Docks and Community Centre. There are swimming and canoes races, a picnic barbeque lunch and a judged arts & crafts show. Sponsors and volunteers are always needed. Contact – Margaret & Daniel Reszczynski.
