Programs Committee (Standing)

Mandate

To manage existing SSCA programs at the Community Centre (CC) and increase the participation in and activities at the CC.

Accountabilities

To manage the Day Camp and Regatta and liaise with the Property Committee as required
To schedule use of the buildings and facilities at the CC for social and other events
To develop/encourage additional use of and activities at the CC and the participation of SSCA members and the community at large in the CC in accordance with the wishes of the membership and in liaison with the Property Committee
To present a budget for approval by the Board at the beginning of the year and to manage the activities of the Committee within that budget
To manage the staff associated with the Day Camp, Regatta and any other activities requiring staff and recommend their level of remuneration to the Board
